On Tuesday, May 23rd, 3rd Grade hosted a Lion Fish Tasting. During this school year, our 3rd graders worked on a project encouraging their community to eat lion fish as a way of managing this invasive species in our waters. The students created a tasting at the restaurant “Travesias”, as a way to motivate us about the consumption of this fish. It was a great evening in which we learned about our water environment, and had a wonderful dinner with our students, parents and our community!
