Secondary school students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement courses and exams to challenge themselves, explore their interests, and earn college credits, and obtain advanced placement.
Research-based curriculum that establishes consistent guidelines for what every student should KNOW and BE ABLE TO DO in Math and English Language Arts from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
SMS’s curriculum incorporates electives into the student’s weekly schedule to ensure students are able to take explore their interests, develop useful skills, and further their knowledge.
The Electives program in Secondary allows students to discover new interests and tailor their high school years towards their interests. We look to provide opportunities for all learning, ranging from sports, to arts, humanities, technology, robotics, language, mind games, environmental awareness, only to name a few.
Our partnership with Syracuse University offers college courses for university credits – Calculus and Presentational Speaking.
We also have a number of other courses available through Bringham Young University.
