3er Taller Competitivo de Emprendimiento Social (TCES) – Mercadexpo Unibe
This past Wednesday March 18th, five of our students participated in the 3rd TCES event at the premises of the Universidad Iberoamericana. A total of 19 schools were invited to this event in Santo Domingo with the aim of developing innovative projects that have a social implication.
Our students Deborah Lebrón, María Caterina Cantisano, Christiern Broberg, Luis María Sánchez y Diana Tejeda developed the “Bon Carbon” project. It consists in the production of coal with the use of biomass, contributing to the conservation of the environment and focusing its market in our neighboring country, Haiti.
Our students were awarded FIRST PLACE as the “BEST PRESENTED PROJECT”, as well as with a special mention for the “MOST INNOVATIVE IDEA”. We are extremely proud of each one of them! CONGRATULATIONS!
