100 years of Cubs Celebration

In 1916, nine years after founding the Scouts, Robert Baden-Powell founded The Cubs branch.  This branch was designed to focus on all children who had not yet reached the proper age to become Scouts, but wanted to be part of the Scout movement.

In this year, 2016, we celebrate the first 100 years of Cubs in the world; 100 years of magic and fantasy that surrounds the smallest kids. SMS has the privilege of having Group Scout 22, Guardians of the Jungle, with 18 members from 1^st to 6^th grade.

On October 14^th to the 16^th we were part of the celebration with our brother cubs from around the country. This event took place in San Francisco de Macoris.

 We are from same blood, we share the same promise and law.
