An event famous for its flashy and cheery ambience has been remastered by our juniors. The class of 2016 surprised us with a theme never used before in our school’s fashion shows: “Rock of Ages”. The crowd enjoyed the coolest combinations of alternative attire modeled by the class. To fit the theme, the event was held at the Hard Rock Cafe located on Blue Mall’s 4th floor, a restaurant surrounded by articles recognized as icons of rock culture, which include autographed guitars and concert outfits. The event was a full house and a total success. Presenters Maria Caterina Cantisano and María Daniela De Mondessert opened the show by thanking the sponsors, parents, and everyone else responsible for the planning and execution of such a successful occurrence. Sponsors ranged from Volvo to La Cuchara de Madera.
The fashion show consisted of clothes from 8 stores modeled by the junior class as well as some of the younger students of St. Michael’s. Brands represented were: Armani Exchange, Kien, Gatsby, Springfield, Karla Reid, Polo Club, Desigual and Forever 21.
