Shapes and Character
“Lines have a shape, if you look closely. Once you start recognizing the shape of things, you will see everything around you is made out of shapes. Whether they are geometric or organic, or whether they are different in size or color, they shape the way we see and think. A character can be made out of shapes. When we draw and breathe life in to shape, our imagination is an endless source of dreams, ideas and possibilities.”
The Elementary Contemporary Art Class has made an art exhibition, in which the students presented their best work. Shapes and Character Exhibition is a child-based curatorial project designed to celebrate the child as an artist, documenting the student’s creativity and learning process. Come by our lobby to see the extraordinary work made by students from 1st to 4th grade!
