SMS Dolphins at the St. Joseph Sports Cup

SMS Dolphins represented our school in the St. Joseph Sports Cup from January 13^th – 22^nd . Seven soccer teams played with amazing spirit and sportsmanship. Five of those teams made it to the finals, and we are proud to say that SMS won 1^st PLACE        with the 3^rd – 5^th Grade Boys’ and Girls’ Teams, 1^st PLACE with the  9^th – 12^th grade Boys’ and Girls’ Teams, and 2^nd PLACE with the 6th – 8^th grade Girls’ Team!

Finally these wonderful showings led SMS to be awarded the SJS Sports Cup “All-Around Soccer” Champion.

Our players were also recognized in several Individuals Award categories:

3^rd – 5^th grade Girls’ Team: Top Scorer, MVP, and Best Goalkeeper

3^rd – 5^th grade Boys’ Team: Top Scorer, MVP, and Best Goalkeeper

9^th – 12^th grade Girls’ Team: Top Scorer, MVP

9^th – 12^th grade Boys’ Team: Top Scorer (tie), MVP

Once again, our Dolphins fill us with great pride and joy!
