SMS MUN 2017
On Friday, April 21st and Saturday, April 22nd, St. Michael’s School hosted our VIII Model United Nations Conference, “SMS MUN 2017” at UNIBE. More than 300 students from fifteen different schools participated in the event as “delegates” from different countries; their goal was to work together to find solutions to worldwide problems.
This experience taught the students how delegates of different countries work together, in simulated United Nations Committees based on actual UN examples. It was a great effort by our SMS staff and students, and students from all the schools as well, who worked together to make this SMS MUN happen!
