Spirit Week 2017!
This year, Spirit Week has been full of excitement and surprises! In Monday’s game, the 10th Grade “Orange Cheetahs” had their victory over the 11th Grade “Blue Wolves”. The match finished in a draw 1-1, with the “Orange Cheetahs” moving on through penalty kicks (2-1). On Tuesday, the 12th Grade “Red Pilots” earned their spot in the final, defeating the 9th Grade “Pink Wildcats” 6-0! After the opening matches were played, the Wednesday match saw “Blue Wolves” claim 3rd place with a victory over “Pink Wildcats”, 5-0. The final was played Thursday, with “Red Pilots” playing “Orange Cheetahs”, and saw the ‘Pilots emerge victorious with a 4-0 triumph! As student champions, the “Red Pilots” now go on to play the end-of-Spirit-Week celebration match against SMS teachers/parents this Friday.
This has been an amazing week! Our community has come together to cheer for their favorite team and to be part of this celebration of sportsmanship and healthy competition between our students. Well done all!
