SMS @ The AFF 2015 (Advocacy Film Festival)
The AFF 2015 (Advocacy Film Festival), is a short film video competition, directed to students from 13-18 years of age, in order for them to have the opportunity to present a short film of their creation advocating important issues affecting mankind today. Films were rated in different categories such as, best video, sound, editing, national theme, narrative, cinematography and best poster.The Awards Ceremony gala took place on May 6th in the Hall of Fame Pavilion of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center. St. Michael’s School participated together with 13 other schools being nominated in the categories of best edition, best cinematography and best poster, winning the latter.
The SMS participating team competed with the video “En Sus Ojos” which was produced and developed by Caterina Giglifiore and Alexandra De Camps of the 10th grade and Ana Gabriela Elías, Nicole Castellanos, Alejandra Ariza and María Caterina Cantisano of the 11th grade. Congratulations!
